Install ShipsBells.
ShipsBells is currently available through Apple TestFlight. Install in two quick steps, then adjust notifications for bells without the clutter.
Install Apple TestFlight
If TestFlight is not already installed on your iPhone or iPad, get it from Apple’s App Store.

After TestFlight is installed, open the ShipsBells invitation and follow Apple’s prompts to install the current beta.

You can skip step 1 and go directly to Install ShipsBells.
Hear the bells without the clutter
After installing, open ShipsBells and allow notifications when prompted. Then open Settings → Notifications → ShipsBells on your iPhone or iPad.
Keep Allow Notifications and Sounds on. Under Alerts, deselect Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners. Turn Badges off if shown.
This is our recommended setup for bell sounds without repeated visual alerts. Turning Allow Notifications off also disables scheduled notification sounds.
